Glee, 2x15
Mar. 9th, 2011 08:38 amAll I have to say is the level of anger and frustration I'm feeling right now better be worth it in the end.
( I get too invested in TV shows. )

Books: The addiction drives me crazy.
Sep. 12th, 2010 03:26 pmI've been reading A LOT of books lately. Basically, as much as I can squeeze in between class and such. I recently finished one that was good, but could have been better and it left me with a rather specific craving...
I'm basically going crazy over here trying to find this one specific book...that I'm not even sure has been written. I want a story with an anti-hero (bad boy, whatever you want to call it) in a relationship with someone unlikely. Now, I know you're thinking "That's been done to death! Surely you can find one book that'll satisfy you..."
No. That's part of the problem. I want to read something well-written, not just some bodice-ripping paperback of a guy in a leather jacket. I want depth. I want grit. I want well-rounded characters that THINK. I want people that are capable of experiencing doubt and devotion in the same thought. I want a love that gets fought for and earned.
My roommate says "Look up some fanfic" for any one of the shows that I love that features a male character like this. (I've been watching a lot of Sons of Anarchy lately...) BUT, I don't want fanfic. I want to get to know a character that I've never seen before. I want to learn his story from page 1.
He is out there, I know it. And he probably wears leather.

Musings on Dawson's Creek
May. 10th, 2010 09:08 pmOkay. So. My roommate has been making me watch Dawson's Creek lately, which I never really did as a youngster. I mean, I knew the basic details of the show, and I had seen it before and liked it, but I've never really taken a big interest.
So, naturally, being us, we started with the Sixth Season. The Last Season. The Jensen Season.
( Spoilers for the last episode./A rant. )
