BUT! A few things!

1. PATRICK MOTHAFUCKIN' STEWART is going to be KNIGHTED! Hell. YES. It's about time, I say. The tweet/headline from CNN said, "Knighthood for Patrick Stewart? Queen says make it so." That is so AWESOME. Trekkie CNN writers? You made my day. CAPTAIN JEAN-LUC PICARD FTW! (...I...don't really know why I used his full name there...)

Me. I have Google Wave and...I have no idea what to do with it. I mean, I kind of sort of understand it. It's like Gmail on steroids?

I do know that it's super-cool and I will have tons of fun exploring it! My inner-nerd is incredibly excited! :D

1. I just saw an article tag line that said "Late Night turns on Obama." I thought it was HILARIOUS. And I'm not even sure why! I think it's because it made it sound like the late night shows were Obama's personal pack of attack dogs or something that suddenly became violent. Or Skynet.

2. Signed up for the fic exchange over at spn_het_love. SO nervous. I hope I... A.) did it right, and B.) can put out something awesome for a fellow writer. *SIGH* We shall se how this all goes. (Also, I still don't know how to use LJ properly and mention communities and stuff.)

3. I learned a few things this weekend... A.) I have the best friends ever. B.) Club people are kind of rude. C.) there is an appallingly dirty version of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot." It was....unpleasant and awkward to listen to.

Parting wisdom is a Karaoke Life Lesson: Get there early and sign up right away. You're going to be nervous no matter what, 3 Jack and cokes won't help.
